History and Trivia

  • At this location: The first restaurant at this location, L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante, opened with the park in 1982. It was with some surprise that in March 2007 it was announced that the restaurant would close on August 31 when Disney's contract with the ownership group that ran the restaurant expired. A month later it was announced that the Patina Restaurant Group would be taking over management. The restaurant reopened under new management the next day with a new name and a new menu.
  • Renovations completed in April 2012 included conversion of some indoor tables to banuette seating and the addition of an adjacent wine bar, Tutto Gusto.
